- Stock products -

Stock items can be identified by item codes that begin with a number. In the catalogue their code numbers are shown in the colour black. E.g. Code 179248 – Glass cleaner 750ml

Some items may have a letter ‘P’ or 'Q' suffix. This tells you that the stock item is also available in a bulk pack, which will offer better value for larger quantities: E.g. Code 17924P – Glass cleaner 750ml case of 6

Prices
Prices of stock items will remain fixed until 31.3.2024. On occasions some stock product prices may vary due to circumstances beyond our control. Prices may be confirmed by contacting the Customer Services team on 0116 294 4265 prior to placing your order. If exceptional circumstances apply we reserve the right to vary the prices of some or all products. Please do not disclose any prices to commercial suppliers.

Delivery
Post and Packing is Free of Charge on orders £100 or over (excluding VAT) for mainland UK.
Orders under £100 (excluding VAT) will incur a small P&P charge of £5.95. 
Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and Isles of Scilly will be charged at cost.
Unfortunately delivery to Northern Ireland is currently unavailable.

Return of stock products

If you would like to return a stock product you must contact Customer Services within 7 working days of receipt of goods. Customer Services Tel: 02922 403777. Please quote: 
- your account number 
- the delivery note number 
- your order number 
- the item(s) and reason for return

We have the discretion to accept the return of any of the goods supplied subject to the goods being returned in their original delivered condition and original packaging. If the goods are not in their original condition and packaging, we will not accept your return of goods. In any event, please do not return items unless you have arranged to do so with Customer Services. There is currently no additional charge for returns, though we reserve the right to charge up to 20% of the price of the products returned as a returns fee.

- Direct Delivery products -

Direct Delivery products are identified with item codes beginning A, N or X. Delivery timings for Direct Delivery products may vary - wherever possible, delivery timelines are provided on the individual product pages.

Delivery
Delivery charges for Direct Delivery products may vary. After your order has been placed, if we identify that the actual delivery cost is higher than you have been charged, we reserve the right to get in touch with you to arrange any additional payment required. In this situation you have the opportunity to cancel your order if you are not willing to accept the additional charge.

Return of Direct Delivery products
Please note that there may be a restocking charge when returning Direct Delivery products, unless the item is faulty.

- Deliveries -

(Applicable to both stock our products and direct delivery products)

The prices quoted are generally based upon delivery to the nearest ground floor point under cover. Beehive Educational Supplies or our suppliers may at our/their discretion agree to position goods within specific areas, you should confirm this with the Customer Services prior to placing your order. Delivery is deemed to have been made to you when Beehive Educational Supplies supplier delivers to the nearest ground floor point under cover or alternatively, in the specific area which we have confirmed to you following any request made with the Customer Services. All goods must be checked at the time of delivery. Risk of damage or loss to the goods shall pass to you at the time of delivery or, if you fail to take delivery of the goods, the time when we have tendered delivery of the goods. If specific arrangements have been made to leave the goods unattended in a specific area with the Customer Services, these goods are left unattended at your own risk and any proof of delivery provided by the supplier shall be proof that the delivery has occurred.

Ordering process
When placing an order with Beehive Educational Supplies you will be required to follow the ordering process as found in the catalogue or on the Beehive Educational Supplies website.

VAT
The prices quoted are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged at the appropriate rate.

Payment
Payment of goods must be made in advance, unless you have requested a credit account, which are offered to customers at the discretion of Beehive Educational Supplies.

Payment terms of credit accounts are strictly net 30 days from the invoice date. Failure to meet the due payment date may result in the suspension of supplies until such time as a satisfactory credit position is restored.

Payment shall be made to the bank account nominated by Beehive Educational Supplies in advance, which at the time of writing is:

Payment may be made by BACS, cheque or card payment (BACS payments are preferred). Cheques should be made payable to Beehive Educational Supplies.

Please use the reference [Account Number] when making a BACS payment. We reserve the right to charge statutory interest in line with the provisions of the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

You shall pay all amounts due to us in full without any deduction or withholding except as required by law and you shall not be entitled to assert any credit, set-off or counterclaim against us in order to justify withholding payment of any amount which you owe to us either in whole or in part. We may at any time, without limiting any other rights or remedies it may have, set off any amount owing to us by you against any amount payable by us to you.

Ownership and risk in the goods
Ownership of the goods will not pass to you until Beehive Educational Supplies Limited has received payment in full and has cleared funds from you. We reserve the right to reclaim goods for which payment has not been received. The risk in the goods shall pass to you when you receive the goods.

Purchasing card orders
We may able to accept Purchasing card orders. Please contact us if you are interested in using this facility.

Product descriptions and accuracy
It is possible that items and brands supplied may vary due to availability, changes to the source of supply or to the supplier’s specification. On occasions, goods may be discontinued for reasons beyond our control. Where a print error has occurred, we reserve the right to withdraw that item.

Delivery discrepancies
We will arrange for the replacement of any damaged goods, providing: 
- the damage is reported within 48 hours of the delivery being made; 
- the goods remain ready for collection in their original packaging.

Delivery discrepancies must be notified within 48 hours from the receipt of the goods, and we will arrange for the replacement of any goods which are not as ordered.

Faulty goods
Please advise us as soon as a fault is discovered and we will look into the matter for you. We will arrange for the replacement of those faulty goods providing that: 
- the fault is reported to us within 48 hours of delivery of the goods; and 
- the faulty goods remain ready for collection in their original packaging.

Non-consumer sale
For the purposes of any order which you place with us you will be deemed to be a non consumer. The above terms set out your full entitlement in respect of faulty goods.

Product suitability
Before you place an order with us you must first establish and satisfy yourself that the items that you wish to order will be suitable for the purpose you wish to use them for.

Warranties
Any warranties from the manufacturers of the items will be passed on to you; beyond that we make no promise in respect of the goods.

Liability
This clause sets out the entire financial liability of the parties (including any liability for the acts or omissions of their respective employees, agents and subcontractors) to each other for:
- any breach of this agreement however arising; 
- any use made or resale of the Products by the Customer, or of any product incorporating any of the Products; and 
- any representation, statement or tortious act or omission (including negligence) arising under or in connection with this agreement.

Nothing in this agreement shall limit or exclude the liability of either party for: 
- death or personal injury resulting from negligence; or 
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or 
- breach of the terms implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979; or 
- breach of section 2 of the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or 
- any indemnity given in these terms and conditions.

Without prejudice to the above, neither party shall under any circumstances whatever be liable to the other, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or restitution, or for breach of statutory duty or misrepresentation, or otherwise, for any: 
- loss of profit; or 
- loss of goodwill; or 
- loss of business; or 
- loss of business opportunity; or 
- loss of anticipated saving; or 
- loss or corruption of data or information; or 
- special, indirect or consequential damage, 
suffered by the other party that arises under or in connection with this agreement.

Without prejudice to the above, the Supplier's total liability arising under or in connection with this agreement, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or restitution, or for breach of statutory duty or misrepresentation, or otherwise, shall in all circumstances be limited to 100% of the charges for the goods ordered.
